Reports from the Boston Herald’s Inside Track have come up that Red Sox first baseman Kevin Youkilis and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady are about to become brothers-in-law. Reportedly Youkilis is engaged to Julie Brady, one of Brady’s three sisters.
The very first time Youkilis met with Julie – a teacher and the mother of a five-year old daughter – at a 2010 party thrown for the Patriots party after they were knocked out of 2010 playoffs. Youkilis-Julie spent some quality time together in Indianapolis to watch the Super Bowl. This is Julie’s first marriage.
The announcement of engagement came around when both the Boston stars could utilize good news. Last weekend Brady and the Pats lost in the Super Bowl, whereas Youkilis and the Red Sox won by making history with September 2011 fall that cost them a spot in the American League playoffs.
As per ESPN, Youkilis engaged in a marriage ceremony with Enza Sambataro in 2008, but both of them never married legally before separation.
Reportedly Sambataro dated Hollywood Red Sox fan Ben Affleck.
Youkilis has been popularly known as a hard-working player and superb fielder in his 8-year career with Red Sox. The 3-time All-Star batted .258 with 17 home runs and 80 RBIs in 2011.
