Saath Nibhana Saathiya is basically a drama on the relationship between Saas-Bahu (Mother-in-law and Daughter-in-law) telecasted at 7 pm on Star Plus. The story mainly evolves around Gopi and Rashi who are cousins and become bahus of a rich household. Gopi, who is married to Ahem Modi, though illiterate, is extremely kind, loyal and true from heart. Whereas Rashi, who is married to Jigar is very much outspoken and materialistic. Rashi and her mother are always in an attempt to destroy Gopi’s relationship with Ahem and nobody in the house knows about their tricky non-sense plans.

Its’ high time that the director should change the story line and bring a jabardast twist so that Rashi and her mom get caught red-handed, if they want to maintain their first position.

It is good that they are showing Gopi going to school and obtaining education, and also getting support from her husband. It seems as if Ahem is slowly understanding her wife, and may be you don’t know he may fall in love with Gopi too.

But Kokila, Gopi’s mother-in-law needs to disclose the cunning tactics and franks of Rashi and her mother in front of everyone in the house, and Gopi needs to be strong enough to build a bridge between herself and her sister. The story should have a scene where Gopi should give a tight slap to Rashi for all her misdeeds done till date & she should also know the secret of her parents’ death & give back to her Mami.

Navya- Nayi Dhadkan ..Naye Saawaal at 10pm sharp is a story of a simple college girl, 19 year-old Navya who is torn between traditional values and rules of the modern world. Anant is a young guy who is deep-rooted in the traditional Indian values and live by the rule book. He, unlike other modern guys, keeps his family as the main priority in life. Navya and Anant study in the same college and fall in love with each other.
After much hiding, Navya’s mother learns about Anant and Navya’s relationship. Her mother makes every effort so that Navya and Anant do not meet each other. But destiny has something different in store for the two lovers. Anant’s and Navya’s family come across each other in a wedding in New Delhi function.

Meeta, Navya’s mother warns Navya to stay away from Anant. Surekha, Navya’s dadi introduces Navya’s family to Anant’s family. Navya and Anant meet at the food counter. Meeta gets angry on seeing them together. Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon is an interesting love story of Khushi and Arnav, who are entwined in a relationship swinging between love & hate. Khushi, an 20 year old from UP, is a simple girl, rooted in family values, whereas Arnav is a 26 year old self made man always wanting to win at any cost; who thinks love doesn’t exists and money can buy everything on this earth. While Arnav constantly tries to break Khushi’s principles just in order to prove himself right that he can control everyone; Khushi on the other hand, tries to always follow her values and makes effort to prove that Arnav can be wrong sometimes and is on an aim to alter him at any means.

Currently Khushi vows to make Arnav attend the puja and she feels happy that Arnav will leave his office soon to come over to puja function. Meanwhile, the police arrives at Raizada’s house to do a verification on Khushi on Lavanya’s orders (Arnav’s sister). Arnav stops the police and sends them back. Arnav notices Khushi upset with the incident.

On the other hand Krishna, is an illiterate who does not have any regard for the importance of education. But when he marries Pratigya, he later comes to understand her wife and works to earn his own living. Pratigya fights for the truth; changes her mother-in-law who used to hate her earlier.

Currently it is showing that the father-in-law of Pratigya, Thakur Sajjan Singh has been romancing a 20 year girl, and lying his whole family marries Ganga. Ganga transforms into the new thakuraain. In spite of Pratigya and Krishna taking grave steps in stopping Sajan Singh to remarry a young girl, they fail to do so. Hope the serial takes a better turn ahead so that the track sustains longer.

The serial being telecasted at 9.30 pm is set against Rajasthan backdrop, with a goal to set up the concept of love within the traditional setting of an arranged marriage. Achieving many awards for last few years, this serial is maintaining values and morals of family. As Naitik and Akshara are wanting to change those rules by spending some time with each other, but their family people especially Akshara’s mother-in-laws and father-in-laws stand by the family norms and also want their bahu and beta to also follow them.

No doubt Yeh Rishta is continuing its fourth year, its’ high time it should wrap-up the serial in a better manner and give way to new serial.
