Still Big B surpassing huge huddles and taking it positively, especially sometimes the offending, unpleasant, meaningless, jealous reactions from the responsers.

Rumors were doing the rounds of Bachchan’s blogs closing; but he cleared the air that his bigadda.com is not closing. Earlier some news was there that the social networking site bigadda.com is planning to transform into an eCommerce portal and Mr.Bachchan’s blog will get shut down. Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, ‘The news that bigadda.com my blog site is closing is absolutely incorrect. The blog will continue, but the business model of site changes.’ Bigagga made an announcement that it is getting out of social media services and altering itself into a shopping portal.

To the surprise, one can also view other celebrity blogging on this site, like Boman irani, Akshay Kumar, Cricketer Harbajan, Vivek Sharma, Arbaaz Khan, Pavan Chaudhary and many others to name. They too write their own blogs on Bidadda.com and also follow Big B’s blogs.

Mentioning the reasons behind closing of the social networking, Reliance Entertainment (Digital Business) CEO Rohit Sharma told, “This is a conscious decision of transition of the Bigadda.com to e-commerce business. The digital space is dynamic and ever-changing. In 2007 when Bigadda.com was launched, social media networks were the next big thing in the digital space, and we believed that local social media platforms would do exceptionally well. However local social media networks shows no potential anymore with dominance of Facebook and other global players.”
