Maruti Launch Swift Dzire 2012 Price in India

Maruti has launched its new avatar Swift Dzire on Wednesday 1st Feb at its Brand Centre in New Delhi as they announce in January 2012.

With the new Swift Dzire Sedan in the market, Maruti Suzuki has joined the bandwagon of lessening the length of its cars like Tata Indigo CS, upcoming Tata Manza CS and Mahindra Verito CS, which have been brought under 4 metre now.

The prices of Maruti Suzuki has been slashed, as the new model ‘Swift Dzire’ will be up to Rs 30,000 cheaper than before. The beginning price of petrol variant will cost Rs 4.79 lakh and diesel variant will be at Rs 4.79 lakh.

The car is also known as Swift compact sedan, as it is the reformed version of previous Maruti Swift Dzire.

Features of Maruti Swift Dzire 2012

• The new car gives an awesome look and absolutely good mileage.
• Its exterior measurements are 3995mm, 1695mm, 1555mm respectively, in terms of its length, width and height.
• The new Dzire is almost 165mm shorter than the existing Dzire.
• The car displays a short boot space of about 316 litres and its wheelbase measures 2430mm.
• The comfort features of the car include a rear centre armrest and adjustable headrests.

• The car is accessible with 4-speed transmission or 5-speed manual transmission.
• The body style inherits 4-door sedan class.
• Four types of engine are there which are used in distinct models of the cars, i.e. 1.2 L I4 engine, 1.3 L I4 engine, 1.5L I4 engine, 1.6L I4 engine.
• The new Swift Dzire is approachable in petrol and diesel engine options.

• ABS and EBD features are present in the petrol variant of the new Swift Dzire.

According to Mr Shinzo Nakanishi, Managing Director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India, “We have brought almost 150 alterations in this car, when compared to the previous one. Expansion in the Indian car market will be probable when the middle-class gets a stable package at an affordable price, and the simple reason why we have brought an automatic version of this car. Maruti and its vendors have put an investment of over Rs 230 crore in the development of the Dzire, besides Rs 550 crore on the base Swift platform.”
